Linen Closet on a Budget
While the magazine cover storage materials that all match with clear glass, wire baskets, and fancy baskets with labels - the simple truth is, those materials cost money that you may not want to spend.
This linen closet proves that organization doesn't have to be expensive. The entire closet was organized using materials the owner already had on hand (plastic baskets, tubs, travel bags, and even cardboard boxes.)
All items were sorted by like category (sunscreens, medications, hair products, pillowcases, etc.) and a simple permanent marker was used to label each area. Items are easy to find, and easy to know where to store when you're finished using them.
Finally, the owner needed additional shoe storage space, so we built simple shelving at the base of the closet to accommodate that need.
All in all, a very inexpensive project that met the need for organization, efficiency, and maximum use of the space.
